Established in 2009, Acumen Portfolio Solutions is a chartered practice, regulated by the RICS providing a range of services including project management, cost consultancy and Contract administration. Acumen Portfolio Solutions bring forward a wealth of experience in delivering large residential and mixed-use developments with over 7,000 residential units delivered since 2009.
Our goal is to provide value-added construction and project management services to our clients by creating a successful partnership with them throughout the process.
Recognising the multi-disciplinary nature of the construction industry, our approach is to integrate expert specialist skills in each sector required, focused on a single source of management.
Our portfolio of services covers the spectrum from initial appraisal through to project delivery and is committed to ensuring a successful outcome for projects, which previously may have been considered financially challenged.

Chairman Acumen
During his fifteen-year term as Chief Surveyor and subsequently Group Construction Director at Ballymore, David was responsible for the delivery of an extensive number of high-quality mixed-use projects throughout the UK, Republic of Ireland and Central Europe. Prior to those positions, David was Regional Director of Michael F. Edwards Chartered Quantity Surveyors.
Andrew Fry

Andrew joined Acumen in 2014 and has over 20-years of experience in Project Management, Quantity Surveying and construction package management. Andrew has a proven track record of working on large residential schemes for both Berkeley Homes & the Ballymore Group. Additionally, has experience of operating under the NEC suite of Contracts whilst working with the Environment Agency on a wide range of flood defence projects. Andrew holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
Finbar Caulfield

Finbar joined Acumen in 2013 and has over 23 years of experience in quantity surveying and project management. Finbar has a proven track record of delivery and has worked on a diverse range of large high-quality residential and mixed-use projects in London for Ballymore Properties and Barratt Homes. He holds a degree in Quantity Surveying from the University of Ulster and is a member of the RICS.
